What's my addiction?

I think my addiction is facebook. I constantly need to check it, because I get informed of what’s going on in my region in this way, oh! And Twitter too. Besides, that is practically the only way that I have to communicate with my friends of Punta Arenas, because it’s cheaper and faster than other ways. It affects my life in a way that I get a little desperate when I don’t see it in a few days; I need to check it almost every day, and I feel disconnected when too many days goes by without me seeing it. My life before facebook was a little less fun than what it is right now, because through facebook we make a lot of jokes between my friends and we can see pictures and post our comments and watch videos that we make, it is really fun!

I think I can beat my addiction, because it is not that intense and I have been a lot of days (two weeks) without checking facebook, so it is not that serious, in my case at least. I guess it will get better when I get home because I won’t need to communicate with my friends from there, but maybe I’ll need to do it with the ones in Santiago.

I think other people should avoid this addiction in particular, because it will make you anxious and keep you dependent to the site. But on the other hand, it is not that terrible, so if you feel that you are going addicted to it, don’t worry that much; but if you are leaving some things a side to be on facebook, then you have to worry.

I think that your addiction is completely understandable, if I were away from my family and friends, I would be even more addicted to Internet that I am today.
